Here's the trailer for the movie that I've been blogging about.
It's a movie I highly recommend viewing..

  1. I'm still tearing from this trailer for The Tree...not sure if I can actually get through this one...it seems to hold a particular meaning for me. Thanks so much for sharing.

  2. Sometimes the most painful things bring the biggest lessons in life.
    My wife's father,John
    (see photo on sidebar)
passed away, exactly one week after I saw this film
(my wife couldn't make the screening)
,like the father in the film - from an unexpected heart attack, right out of the blue.
This film was also filmed about 100 miles from where I live, and the young girl in the movie, looks just like my sister's daughter (and a little bit like my wife did at that age, come to think of it).
There are so many "coincidences" surrounding this film and my life, that is literally not funny.-)
But no matter how painful it might be,I still recommend watching it...even if you have to use a few boxes of tissues,to get you through it.

I saw it in October.I had a free double pass from Filmink Magazine
    http://www.filmink.com.au/
(the same magazine that I won the "Signs" watch from years ago).
I wanted to take my wife along, but she couldn't make the screening that weekend,so I gave it to my mother and brother, and I just went along and paid admission at another cinema, that was screening it.
My wife hasn't seen it yet,but I think she would really like it.
Under the circumstances of her father's death, though, she may just find it way too painful to view.
It's going to be released on DVD here, soon. So I will buy a copy, and one day she can sit down with a box of tissues and watch it by herself, and have a good cry.It will probably do her more good than harm,I think.
    I wrote a post about it here;

    ...but you must have forgotten.-)

Anyway, keep an eye out for it,because it is well worth a watch, especially since the cyclone that hit us around Christmas. It was almost prophetic in all so many ways.
    Magical film!
