#Elisa Lam#

United States local time February 19, the body of the 21-year-old ethnic Chinese girl Elisa Lam, who has been missing for three weeks, was found in a water tank on the roof of the Los Angeles Cecil Hotel she was staying at.
According to reports, guests at the hotel had complained about low water pressure, and hotel staff found the body when they went up to check.
Previously, United States police had released a hotel surveillance video clip where she exhibited frighteningly strange in the elevator during her stay at the Los Angeles hotel. This strange case sparked widespread discussion among netizens, including rumors of the hotel involved being connected to the unsolved 20th century “Black Dahlia” case.

"The hotel patrons who drank Elisa Lam’s body-water
[water that Elisa Lam's body had been in]
talked about their feelings on CNN
One woman said, “It had a very funny, sweety, disgusting taste.
It’s a very strange taste.
I can barely describe it.
” A man said, “I’ve been here a couple days, been using the water to brush teeth and take showers.
I feel so disgusted now…” "
Elisa Lam’s Body Found in Water Tank, Netizen Reactions
"On the morning of June 30, 1908, a brilliant fire filled the cloudless sky over the subarctic forests of central Siberia.
The few eyewitnesses in the mostly uninhabited region reported that a large fireball streaked across the sky, leaving a plume of dust in its wake before a massive explosion, which could be heard 1,000 miles away, rocked the ground.
The indigenous Evenki people believed the god Ogdy had come in anger to curse them. Others were equally bewildered as to what had happened.
“The sky was split in two, and high above the forest the whole northern part of the sky appeared to be covered with fire,” reported one eyewitness sitting on the front porch of a trading post.
“At that moment I felt a great heat as if my shirt had caught fire.
I wanted to pull off my shirt and throw it away, but at that moment there was a bang in the sky and a mighty crash was heard.
I was thrown on the ground … and for a moment I lost consciousness."
Seismic shockwaves were recorded as far away as England.
Thousands of miles away, there were reports of colorful sunsets and night skies glowing so brightly that people in Asia read newspapers outdoors at midnight and at least one golfer got in a quick round at 2:30 in the morning at St. Andrews, Scotland.

" The blast area, near the Tunguska River, was so remote that there were little or no reports of injuries, and it has made it difficult to pinpoint just exactly what happened on that June day in 1908.
The landscape was so difficult to traverse and distant that it took nearly 20 years before any researchers could reach the site.
After harsh conditions forced him to abandon a 1921 expedition, mineralogist Leonid Kulik arrived at the impacted forest in 1927
The Cecil was constructed by 1927
—and what he found, even two decades later, was astounding.
Nearly 500,000 acres of forest had been eviscerated.
Near the epicenter, charred trees stripped of limbs and bark stood like thickets of telephone poles.
Sweeping away from the epicenter in a radial pattern were approximately 80 million trees flat on their sides, snapped like matchsticks.
What Kulik didn’t find, however, was an impact crater or meteorite samples
More than a century later, the exact cause of what scientists call the “Tunguska event” is still a mystery.
While the lack of a crater or meteorites has fueled speculative theories about alien spaceships and black holes, the most likely cause offered by scientists is a massive meteor or a small asteroid.
Researchers postulate that a space rock approximately 100 feet wide
(about twice the diameter of the meteor that hit last week)
entered the atmosphere and detonated in the sky 5 miles above Siberia, unleashing energy 1,000 times more powerful than the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima in 1945.
The power of the explosion annihilated the space rock, thus the lack of an impact crater or fragments on the ground.
The dust released by the fireball reflected sunlight from beyond the horizon, causing the bright nighttime conditions throughout Europe and Asia.
Some scientists have conjectured that the glow was caused by clouds that formed as the space rock released water upon entering the atmosphere.
This would suggest that it was an icy comet, rather than a meteor or asteroid, that streaked across the sky. "

The Nye Incidents
Authors Whitley Strieber and Craig Spector discussed their new graphic novel

The Nye Incidents which concerns mysterious cases of human mutilation, which may be connected to alien abductions.
The incidents in the book were inspired by a number of real life events.
"Whitley had a story he was too scared to write," Spector said, explaining how he was brought in on the collaborative project.
A 2002 case in Pennsylvania that Linda Moulton Howe investigated involved a man whose unusually decomposed body was found in a separate location from his abandoned car, and was associated with a witness seeing a body floated up in a beam of light.
Other cases involved homeless men dropped on rooftops in Northern New Jersey, said Strieber.
In their book, Spector said he focused on forensic aspects, setting up the question whether a serial killer was imitating aliens or vice versa.
UFO researcher Dr. Roger Leir joined the program for a segment and noted that in the New Jersey cases, a medical professional told him the men were cut in a style similar to the cattle mutilations, with large amounts of hemoglobin found on the edges of the wounds. He also discussed the 'Chupa chupa' UFO attacks in Brazil, which took place in 1977.

The Nye Incidents
The album cover features the Beatles with their arms positioned to spell out a word in
 flag semaphore
According to cover photographer
Robert Freeman
"I had the idea of semaphore spelling out the letters HELP
But when we came to do the shot the arrangement of the arms with those letters didn't look good.
So we decided to improvise and ended up with the best graphic positioning of the arms.
On the UK Parlophone release, the letters formed by the Beatles appear to be
'NUJV', whilst the slightly re-arranged US release on Capitol Records
appeared to feature the letters 'NVUJ'
The original photograph used on the UK album was reverse printed.
Holding it up to a mirror reveals the letters LPUS - "Help Us.
Help! (album)
LPUS, or LUPUS?

It would be good to know the truth to all this strangeness,
wouldn't it?
Let's hope that there is a silver lining to all of this;-)

Ha,ha...that's a good one,and I'd like to say I did,but I used the shot of her shirt mainly because of the picture of the tree and the wolves.
Writing this post for me was a bit like the poster for the movie
"The Impossible" I knew I went for a swim...or got swept up in something that I could probably never get out of here, and was drowning in a puzzle that was way too big for me to handle. There were so many ways I wanted to go here, but for the sake of the post I could only choose one direction among many.
I knew I wanted to head towards wolves...Wolfen,Wolf,The Grey,so the shirt with the wolves on it was great, especially because she seems to be running away from a guy that appears that he may be perusing her, similar as to what Jack seems to be doing to Jen on Oscar night.-)
Also I wanted the tree on her shirt because I was going to branch into the "Carnival" TV series

and the Tree of Life theme...but decided to cut it out of the post as it probably would have ended up three times as big as it already is. The shirt being a light purple colour too was a factor,as for me purple represents the spiritual realm and the logo on the shirt brings it down to earth,in a way.
So one picture can speak more than a thousand words and I love the words you found here as well.
    Great pick up.
