The Radio8Ball website is down.
It is old (in web terms) and needs to be updated.
Please help to raise the funds to get it back up and running.
" The Radio8Ball website is the home of so much of the show’s archival history.
Not having it feels kind of naked somehow, but not in an entirely unpleasant way.
For instance, without the website and its content to tether my memory, I’m recollecting chapters of the show’s history that aren’t (yet) documented on the website.
Did you know that Radio8Ball started out as The Pirate Shuffle on KAOS in Olympia, with my co-host Jeff Stern
(of the Olympia folk duo Fiore Mills, and the short-lived supergroup El Serioso)?
We were kinda jack-assey about the whole thing but we were young and it was fun late night radio.
Soon we changed our name to Radio8Ball and the rest is, if not history, than at least the artistic focus of the next fifteen years of my life.
In the past, I’ve said that the show began as an accident, and that’s how I remembered it, but I just listened to the first episode and it’s clear that we were doing a divination show, even if we didn’t think of it that way".
