8-Ball Sundae?

I started reading a book called Meatball Sundae when I saw an Indigogo campaign was started by Andras Jones and the Sync-heads (maybe a good name for a band?-) to raise money for the Olympia Sync Summit.
Andras had posed this question to the readers in a Facebook group -
"We had a great first week to the campaign and we still have a long way to go.
Any ideas from the sync experts?"
So, I really got stuck into reading Meatball Sundae hoping there would be some ideas in it to get the creative juices flowing and help raise money for the campaign.
I bought this book years ago just before I left IKEA ... or got pushed out, I should say,
only because of two things mentioned on the cover of Seth Godin's book.
Meatballs (which was one of the main products sold at IKEA, believe it, or not) and sync
(although Godin wasn't talking about synchronicity).
I didn't want to think about meatballs and IKEA for a while after leaving that place, so I let it gather dust on the shelf until a few weeks ago when I started getting a few synchy hints that maybe the time to read it was now.
When I saw Andras was going to do a Radio8Ball show at the Sync Summit I couldn't help thinking of the book I was reading as 8-Ball Sundae instead of Meatball Sundae.

AND MORE TO BE ANNOUNCED

I remembered the scene out of Nightmare on Elm Street 4 where Andras played a meatball in a pizza that Freddy digs out with his claw and eats ... or should I say 8 ... in a nightmare sequence in the film.

So, I got the idea of rejigging the Meatball Sundae cover with Andras as a meatball in the movie scene to replace Seth's
(Swedish?-) chef photo, put an 8-Ball on top of the Sundae, instead of a cherry and call it 8-Ball Sundae:-)
Actually, I was just thinking if you stretched a pizza over Seth's face and placed a hat on his head, he might make a pretty good Freddy Kruger.

While reading Meatball Sundae I found out Seth Godin was the CEO and one of the founders of Squidoo.com.
I didn't know too much about Squidoo, so I went over to the site to see what it was all about.
I did a search on "synchronicity" and found a page written by my blogging friend in the UK, Mike Perry
Coincidences and Synchronicity: Do They Happen By Chance?
Mike writes the blog 67 Not Out, a blog I've been following for quite a while.
Now the funny thing here is that I went to Amazon (the place I bought the book from) and did a review of Seth Godin's book.
And I saw that I was the 67th person to review it.

What are the odds?
Sub-chapter from Meatball Sundae
Page 127 of Meatball Sundae even has a Venn diagram that looks like an 8-Ball.
And I once wrote a post about the number 127 and synchronicity -
Repo Man/127 Sync
Synchronicity!
If the experience of synchronicity inspires you, then you're like us, and we'd like to meet you in Olympia this summer. Your participation in this campaign will make it a reality we can all share.

Other Ways You Can Help

Please share this campaign with your friends and loved ones who dig sync.
