The Irony of a QUEENSland Newspaper and Margot Robbie as a Red-headed Page 3 Girl, as Scarlett Only Makes a 10?

Page 10 of the same QUEENSLAND newspaper

made page 3 in
Newspapers always seem to be trying really hard to be ironic with their headlines, take for example the front page of the Queensland newspaper that Margot Robbie makes page 3 girl as
Queen Elizabeth the 1st of England from the set of her new movie 'Mary Queen of Scots', where the editor of the paper has that North Korean nut-bag on the front page with the headline "In a DESPOT of Bother".
I hope this editor doesn't ever pick the headliners for a comedy club, let's hope this editor doesn't give up the day job ... or maybe that should be let's hope so?-)
Margot was born and raised in Queensland, as well.
I'm sure that the more ironic stuff in the newspaper isn't planned out as well as the cringe worthy headlines its journos try to make up, for instance, a pretty plain, almost Art Garfunkel looking Margot Robbie clothed from neck to toe on a page that is notorious in Britain for being the page topless women are featured on ... page 3 ... and Scarlett Johansson, some might describe as a perfect 10 is on page 10 of the same newspaper with the headline, " Scarlett sees red in calls for more female-led films".
Art Garfunkel
The real Margot Robbie
But there does seem to be a deliberate slant to a 'Game of Thrones' theme in this edition, not only with sacked Gold Coast Titans coach Neil Henry (the 8th?-) pictured on the front page with two swords/daggers in his back right off the Titan's logo, but also the feared/laughable North Korean clown playing with and threatening nations with his nukes (dragon eggs?).
I'd actually like to put one in Henry's back for his team (who could barely win a game all season) beating my team not once, but twice this year -
The Night of the Undergods/dogs
So, does that picture above mean that Kim is thinking of taking out Uluru, also known as Ayers Rock?
I guess at least he isn't as dumb as to waste a bomb on the Great Barrier Reef, as our own government seems to want to take care of that tourist attraction themselves ... and it's nearly all gone now anyway by the looks of it -
Barrier to Grief and Reefer Madness?
But don't worry about nuclear warheads flying over your head, because the Queensland government are unleashing "Shop and Awe", so you'll be able to plan and shop for a Christmas that you may never reach.
Don't worry too much over those headlines, just try and stay 'Focus'ed and don't lose your head;-)
The steaks are high in the game of thrones?-)

The 'Real Ghosts' of Luna Park and Anthony Lister?

I saw this news story yesterday about a crane cable snapping and landing on the face at the entrance to Sydney's Luna Park amusement fun-park -
Then last night I came across an article in the latest Australian GQ magazine about Brisbane boy Anthony Lister and one of his featured paintings in that article was of Sydney's Luna Park's iconic face and the painting was titled 'Real Ghosts'.
The same magazine that I wrote about in this post -
"The Sydney Ghost Train fire was a fire on the night of 9 June 1979 at Luna Park Sydney.
The fire killed six children and one adult, and destroyed the amusement park's ghost train."
Rather bizarre considering I had written 'The Funhouse' post about Tobe Hooper passing away the other day -
I also thought it was synchy that in the magazine article BrizVegas boy Anthony Lister says, "I want these guys carrying a dolphin into a club, but he has got no I.D."

I'm pretty sure that magazine article would have been written before the Prince of Denmark was refused entry to a Brisbane nightclub about a week ago.
Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark denied entry by Brisbane bar over ID
I couldn't help thinking it was ironic that the ghost known as "Sir No Face" resides just down the harbour from the face of Luna Park:-)

A Head Full of Dreams Tour for the Riders on the Storm (and with "Trouble" Following Them Around)?

I saw this news story at the BBC news site this morning and wondered if "Trouble" just follows along with this Coldplay tour, which I didn't realize was still going on around the world -
Coldplay write a song for Houston and sing it... in Miami
I like the band Coldplay, in fact I have their 'Head Full of Dreams' album on my iPod devices and even though I have my iPod on shuffle the song of theirs 'Adventure of a Lifetime' always comes on first, but I don't mind, as I can always press the skip button, although I usually let it play right through if I'm going on a road-trip in my car.
Hmm ... eclipse, space-shuttle, Houston, 2017

I can relate to;-)

I wrote this post about when Coldplay played in my hometown of Brisbane the night of the morning of a fatal storm that that killed an American camper who was sleeping in a tent on a mountain that was used in their video for their song 'Adventure of a Lifetime'just as the camper was setting out on the adventure of a lifetime ironically.

I've also noticed on the band's tour dates page at Wikipedia that when the "Fan Request Song" was "Trouble" trouble has often happened after that concert usually in the form of a terrorist attack.
Only Frankfurt, Landover and Toronto haven't been touched by an event like those other cities who requested that song as the request song, as far as I know.
Let's hope the bad dreams and coincidences are over now, as far as this tour goes.
And on a personal "23 Enigma" kind of way I like how the North American set list has Bowie's 'Heroes' at song number 16 (2016 was a great year for my NRL football team) and song 23 is 'Amazing Day'.

Coldplay plays in the Seahawks Stadium on September 23rd, 2017, which happens to be my birthday and home stadium of my favourite NFL football team, too.
I wouldn't mind seeing that concert in Seattle, but I'll probably be stuck back in Vegas if I'm not down in Sydney for the football finals.

And I hope that the "Fan Request Song" is not 'Trouble' in Seattle.
'Green Eyes' would be kind of synchy though;-)
