The Shape of (Amniotic?) Fluid?

In theaters December 8th?
John Lennon
(9 October 1940 – 8 December 1980)
I'm writing a post about the Siren themes floating around at the moment in pop-culture and I was researching the movie 'The Shape of Water', which was released in the USA/Canada on December 8th, 2017, which is also the anniversary of John Lennon's death.
"Double Fantasy is a 1980 album released by John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
It is the seventh and final studio album released by Lennon during his lifetime.
Though initially poorly received, Lennon was murdered three weeks after its release, whereupon it became a worldwide commercial success, and went on to win the 1981 Album of the Year at the
24th Annual Grammy Awards."
This year is also the 50th anniversary of the movie 'Rosemary's Baby', which was filmed in the building John Lennon was shot outside of and the building that he and Yoko were living in at the time of his death.
I have already touched on 'Rosemary's Baby' in this post -
Playing God by Using The (Tasmanian) Devil?!
But I was inspired to write this post and the one I'm still writing by a Chris Knowles's post -
They Call It "the Never-Ending Ritual" for a Reason
Chris mentions in that post among many things that - "The transgenic he-Siren in 2017's other Beauty and the Beast is played by Doug Jones, who also played Abe Sapien in the Hellboy movies."

Pan's Labyrinth' and 'Hellboy'

Heaven Upside Down or Las Vegas: It Takes Two
But it was only when I watched the You Tube video below titled '25 Facts About The Shape of Water' that a lot of the themes that Chris was writing about this year at 'The Secret Sun' came together in a WTF way for me.
Let Me Tell You a Story: You'll Float Too
For instance, the movie premiered at Venice (the city of water?) International Film Festival on 31 August 2017 winning a golden lion award for best film.

 the live action '
Aladdin' movie?
And the 25th fact in that '25 Facts About The Shape of Water' You Tube is that Doug Jones had to double as himself in the dance scene.
Hmm ... maybe I'm just watching the wheels go round too much these days;-)
"The photograph on the cover was taken by Paul Goresh, a fan of Lennon who also took the infamous photo of Lennon signing a copy of Double Fantasy for his killer, Mark David Chapman. Both photos were taken at the same place, in front of the Dakota building, which was the site of his 1980 shooting.
Later, Chapman was recorded in police custody reciting the line "People say I'm crazy" from the song."

UPDATE: 6th January, 2018
1,000-year-old Aztec shrine
"The "tetzacualco" stone was discovered at the bottom of the Iztaccihuatl volcano.
According to experts at the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH), it is a contemporary model of the universe.
This comes as a huge haul of Aztec gold lost for 500 years was discovered.
"
"The shrine is believed to have been originally placed in a pond.
It’s made up of stone, ceramic fragments and organic remains.
These are associated with the Rain God in Aztec culture Tlaloc.
"

"The INAH released a statement after the incredible find.
It said: "The existence of a
tetzacualco in the middle of a natural pond and the optical effect that occurs when the water mirrors, from which it seems that the structure emanates, suggests that the place is the representation of a primeval time and space, a miniature model of the universe.”
Archaeologist Iris del Rocio Hernandez Bautista, from the
Subaquatic Archaeology Subdirectorate at INAH, said the shrine may date from over 1,000 years ago."

"She also said that the once-floating stone represented Cipactli – the monster of the Earth."
Cipactli
Now, where did I put my umbrella?
